Cardinal Health is seeking a Compliance Auditor to perform detailed coding, documentation, and claims audits focused on Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology and Urology services. You will analyze trends, educate providers and staff, and collaborate across Compliance, Revenue Cycle and Operations to improve adherence to regulations.

The role requires advanced knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM, and reimbursement methods, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Formación

• Advanced knowledge of medical coding, auditing and compliance principles.
• Experience with CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM and reimbursement methodologies.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct coding, billing, and documentation audits to identify compliance, coding, and reimbursement risks.
• Review medical records and claims to ensure regulatory and payer requirements are met.
• Analyze audit findings, identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare audit reports and communicate findings to leadership, providers, coders, and stakeholders.
• Provide education and guidance on coding, documentation and compliance requirements to physicians and staff.
• Research coding questions to support accurate code assignment and reimbursement.
• Coordinate responses to external audit requests and ensure timely submission of documentation.
• Maintain current knowledge of coding guidelines and payer policies affecting relevant services.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Revenue Cycle, Coding, Clinical and Operations teams on monitoring activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
