Cardinal Health is seeking a Compliance Auditor to lead coding, documentation, and reimbursement audits across Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, and Urology services. The role emphasizes identifying risks, delivering education, and advancing compliance with HIPAA, ICD-10-CM, CPT, and payer policies.

The successful candidate will balance detailed audit work with broader risk assessment, collaborating with Compliance, Revenue Cycle, Coding, Clinical, and Operational teams to drive improvements

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM, reimbursement methodologies, and healthcare compliance regulations.
• Experience with Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, and Urology services.
• Ability to educate physicians, coders, and staff on coding and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct coding, billing, and documentation audits to identify compliance, coding, and reimbursement risks.
• Review medical records and claims to ensure regulatory, payer, and organizational compliance.
• Analyze audit findings and recommend corrective actions to leadership and stakeholders.
• Prepare audit reports and communicate findings to leadership, providers, coders, and operational teams.
• Provide education and guidance on coding, documentation, and industry best practices.
