Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Compliance Auditor to join the Ethics & Compliance team. The role focuses on coding, documentation audits and compliance across Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology and Urology services, with advanced CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM knowledge.

The successful candidate will perform detailed claim reviews, identify risks, develop improvement recommendations, and deliver education to providers and staff. A coding certification and 4–8 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient in healthcare coding concepts and compliance practices.
• Experience with CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM and reimbursement methodologies.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to train others.

Responsibilities

• Conduct coding, billing and documentation audits to identify compliance and reimbursement risks.
• Review medical records and claims for regulatory, payer and organizational compliance.
• Analyze findings, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare audit reports and communicate findings to leadership and stakeholders.
• Educate physicians, coders and staff on coding, documentation and compliance requirements.
