Commence is seeking a highly skilled Arbiter to join our team. You will arbitrate/decide payment disputes, analyze documentation, and manage case files with neutrality and precision.

The role requires strong writing and analytical abilities, and comfort working across multiple systems (SharePoint, Salesforce, Microsoft Office). This is a flexible office/remote position suitable for a detail-oriented professional in healthcare data-driven contexts.

Qualificações

• Juris Doctorate preferred; Arbitration certification preferred, required within the year.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and communication skills.
• Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently.
• Experience with SharePoint, Salesforce and Microsoft Office products.

Responsabilidades

• Arbitrate/decide payment disputes and determine jurisdictional issues as needed.
• Review all dispute information; request information and decide who should be awarded.
• Remain neutral and write concise determinations under deadlines.
• Summarize facts, assess issues, and draft/edite determinations.
• Collaborate with technical and legal professionals to reach the best decision.
• Research federal/state regulations relevant to No Surprises Act and IDR program.
• Interpret applicable regulations to determine jurisdiction and merits.
• Communicate determinations in clear written format.
• Exercise independent judgment to ensure accurate, well-supported decisions.
• Draft and/or edit determination documents; perform other duties as assigned.
