Job summary

Valenz in the United States is seeking a Manager of Analytics to lead a team of analysts focused on healthcare data, product development, and user outcomes. You will collaborate with Product, Data Engineering, and Application Development to deliver data-driven solutions that enhance quality and reduce costs.

You will oversee data quality, enforce analytics best practices, and translate complex findings into actionable insights for stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field.
• 5+ years of analytics experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Experience with medical claims data.
• Experience working in Python.
• Proficiency in SQL Server.
• Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
• Strong ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of analysts to leverage healthcare data for new product development.
• Partner with Product and stakeholders to define and prioritize product initiatives.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Application Development teams to design and implement data-driven solutions.
• Identify and drive process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Ensure the accuracy, quality, and integrity of analytical processes and deliverables.
• Champion a customer-first approach in product development.
• Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics.
• Uphold high technology standards and best practices across the team.
• Communicate insights and status updates effectively to stakeholders.
• Tailor communication to match the technical understanding of diverse audiences.
• Manage project tracking tools, including Azure DevOps and Salesforce.
