Job summary

Valenz Health is seeking a Manager of Analytics to lead a team of analysts leveraging healthcare data for new product development. You will collaborate with Product, Data Engineering, and Application Development to identify improvements, ensure data quality, and deliver customer-first solutions.

This role emphasizes translating complex data into actionable insights, guiding product strategy, and communicating findings to diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field
• 5+ years of analytics experience, including at least two years in a supervisory role
• Experience with medical claims data
• Experience working in Python
• Proficiency in SQL Server
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
• Strong track record of turning data into actionable insights and products
• Excellent communication and time-management skills
• Ability to work autonomously and handle ambiguous data

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of analysts to leverage healthcare data for new product development
• Partner with Product and stakeholders to define and prioritize product initiatives
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Application Development to design data-driven solutions
• Identify and drive process improvements and operational efficiencies
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of analytical processes and deliverables
• Champion a customer-first approach in product development
• Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics
• Communicate insights and status updates to stakeholders
• Manage project tracking tools such as Azure DevOps and Salesforce
