Job summary

McKesson is seeking an Account Manager Intern for our Remote Sales Team. You will manage 25-40 existing customers in our oncology business within a geographic territory, while supporting customer-facing projects and building relationships with healthcare providers.

You will gather insights, prepare materials, and help develop presentations, reports, and business recommendations. Remote work is supported; travel up to 30% may be required.

Qualifications

• Sales and/or account management experience in a professional setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry is beneficial.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams to reach a positive outcome.
• Strong organizational skills and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Support customer-facing projects and build relationships with providers and practice teams.
• Gather data and insights to identify customer opportunities and improve experience.
• Prepare materials and coordinate logistics for customer meetings and reviews.
• Research customer needs and develop presentations, reports, and business recommendations.
• Partner with Customer Success, Clinical Services, Finance, and Operations on initiatives.
• Track action items, maintain notes, and support follow-up on requests.
• Promote McKesson products, services, and resources to meet customer goals.
• Contribute to special projects and process improvements within the team.
