Job summary

McKesson, a Fortune 10 healthcare company, invites a student intern to join the Account Management learning track in Irving, TX. You will shadow managers, help prepare for provider discussions, and learn how McKesson services support informed decisions for clinician partners.

You'll gain exposure to quarterly reviews, GPO opportunities, and cross-functional collaboration with Onmark GPO, Clinical Specialists, Customer Success, and Finance.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a 4-year degree in sales, marketing, business, or related field.
• Prior internship or experience in customer service, sales, healthcare, or business preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; strong communication and analytical skills.
• Interest in healthcare, sales, or account management.

Responsibilities

• Shadow account management team members to learn relationships with physicians, administrators, and clinic stakeholders.
• Assist with preparation for customer discussions by gathering information.
• Support quarterly business reviews and customer meetings with analysis of trends.
• Learn customer retention, distribution agreements, and integrated provider partnerships.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the customer experience.
• Assist with sales and account support activities, including meeting prep and follow-up.
• Develop familiarity with McKesson products, services, and account management best practices.
