Job summary

Nestlé Health Science is seeking a Category Maintenance Manager (Health Science) to drive maintenance strategy across assigned categories. You will coach factories, lead maintenance improvements, and partner with Engineering, Manufacturing Excellence, and facility teams to optimize costs and reliability.

The role enables remote or hybrid work based on geographic location, with strong preference for candidates within commutable distance to Bridgewater, NJ or other listed sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Medical, Chemical, Electrical or Feed Engineering is required; Master’s degree a plus.
• 6-7+ years of relevant work experience in a Maintenance function and/or Factory Engineer is required.
• 1+ years of People Leadership experience including hiring, training, coaching, and leading a Maintenance or Engineering improvement team is required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint) is required.
• Experience with SAP systems and end-to-end Project Management is required.
• Knowledge of CMMS (computerized maintenance management systems) is required.
• Excellent communication, organizational, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Willing to travel up to 50%+ to various Nestlé Factories.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, improve, and implement the Category Maintenance strategy to deliver category goals.
• Provide alignment and regular reporting of team performance to Corporate Engineering, T&P Leadership, USA Zone Engineering HUB and Global Maintenance.
• Ensure team objectives align with the Technical & Production Market roadmap and KPIs.
• Ensure Factory visits are effective and build competency.
• Develop and manage Maintenance and Innovation budgets for reliable equipment at optimal cost.
• Coach, implement, monitor and adjust the M&I strategy to drive sustainable business results for all Factories.
• Ensure programs align with Safety, Environmental, and Quality systems/teams.
