Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with five (5) years progressively more responsible related work experience.
• Thorough understanding of a research study and its conduct, including technical requirements.
• High accuracy, attention to detail, discretion, and confidentiality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
• Demonstrated supervisory ability.

Responsibilities

• Manage project support team assignments, set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor progress.
• Provide direct supervision and guidance to project support staff with performance feedback and development.
• Assist with development and tracking of project timelines and milestones.
• Coordinate internal and external meetings, materials, and vendor negotiations; some overnight travel may be required.
• Support the Project Manager with overall management of project staff and task delegation across teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve project efficiencies and team support.
• Support contract development with funders and ensure compliance with grant specifications.
• Verify and track non-personnel expenditures monthly against budget.
• Develop and document project procedures and work instructions for the team.
• Serve as liaison between external collaborators and internal teams for timelines and task achievement.
• Contribute to proposal writing and editing with input from collaborators.
