Job summary

Arbor Research Collaborative for Health seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead the project support team, coordinate timelines, and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables across multiple studies in a remote setting.

The role reports to the PMO Manager, offers a 40-hour work week, annual salary range $55,500–$86,500, and requires five years of related experience and strong communication. Familiarity with nonprofit health research is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with five years progressively more responsible related work experience, or an equivalent combination of work experience and education.
• Demonstrated thorough understanding of a research study and its conduct, including technical requirements and contribution to program objectives
• Demonstrated performance with a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, discretion, and confidentiality
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both formal and informal
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and workload in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
• Demonstrated supervisory ability
• Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

• Manage project support team assignments, including set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress of project support team, and coordinate project team tasks and interdependencies with other project groups.
• Provide direct supervision to members of the project support team, including ongoing performance feedback and evaluations; identify training needs.
• Assist with development, monitoring, and tracking of project timelines, proactively identifying potential off-track tasks.
• Coordinate internal and external meetings logistics and manage vendor contracts for external partners; may require some overnight travel.
• Assist the Project Manager with management/support of comprehensive project staff across internal and external teams.
• Identify opportunities for project efficiencies and improvements to support project staff.
• Provide support for contract development with funder and facilitate subcontractor contracts; ensure compliance with grant specifications.
• Verify, approve, and track non-personnel expenditures monthly in financial system against budget.
• Oversee development and documentation of project procedures and work instructions.
• Serve as liaison between external collaborators and internal teams for timelines and task achievement.
• Contribute to proposal development and grant writing; assist with drafting content and coordinating input.
• Pursue professional development activities and assist with task delegation as assigned by PMO Manager
