Job summary

GovCIO is hiring a Health Products Technical Subject Matter Expert to provide strategic technology and product leadership for complex, mission-critical initiatives under the VA HTMS contract. This fully remote role operates within the United States with core hours 8 AM to 5 PM ET, Monday through Friday.

The candidate will lead cross-functional teams, develop roadmaps, and translate high-level strategies into concrete requirements for secure data exchange and interoperability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a technical field; 15 years of experience or 10 additional commensurate years.

Responsibilities

• Gather information on product capabilities and requirements; translate to system specs.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams; drive alignment across stakeholders.
• Develop technology strategies, roadmaps, and implementation plans.
• Analyze business requirements and workflows to identify risks and impacts.
• Conduct workflow assessments to uncover gaps and modernization opportunities.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and continuous improvement of key applications.
• Facilitate change management and resolve issues proactively.
