Job summary
GovCIO is hiring a Health Products Technical Subject Matter Expert to provide strategic technology and product leadership for mission-critical initiatives under the VA HTMS contract. This fully remote role operates within the United States with core hours 8 AM–5 PM ET.
The expert will lead cross-functional teams, develop technology strategies and roadmaps, analyze requirements and workflows, and drive modernization opportunities across healthcare, data management, and interoperability domains.

- Systems interoperability and secure data exchange
- Change management and stakeholder engagement across technical teams
Responsibilities
- Gathers information on capabilities of company products and investigates technical capabilities.
- Translates high-level product strategies into network and system requirements and defines implementation details.
- Establishes standards, practices, and procedures for network and system development.
- Designs interfaces and integrates network elements to work as a whole.
- Assesses performance using formal evaluation criteria.
- Provides customer liaison and supports business development to shape requirements.
