Job summary

UnitedHealth Group's OptumServe unit seeks a Business Architecture Analyst to translate business requirements into architectural software specifications, evaluating capabilities, integration landscapes, and data flows across large-scale initiatives and contracts.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Architecture teams to define requirements, document designs, and develop end-to-end test plans. Remote work nationwide with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience developing technical requirements for software.
• 2+ years experience developing test cases for implemented software.
• Experience in technical writing and interpreting technical specification documents to derive actionable requirements.
• Experience working as a liaison between IT professionals and operational stakeholders.
• Advanced understanding of database structures and data models and the ability to analyze system relationships.
• Demonstrated successful implementation of large-scale technology projects.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work independently or in lead or support roles.
• United States citizenship required and ability to obtain security clearance.
• Up to 10% travel.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate communication between stakeholders, translating between business needs and technical requirements.
• Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and alternatives.
• Documenting functional and non-functional requirements to drive architectural and engineering decisions.
• Partner with IT peers to define detailed technical requirements and contribute to architectural design documentation.
• Collaborate with product areas and their feature teams to develop and implement solutions.
• Write and maintain documentation describing program development, logic, testing, changes, and corrections.
• Develop end-to-end test plans for epics/workstreams to validate feature delivery.
