Job summary

UnitedHealth Group’s OptumInsight unit seeks a Senior Application & Technical Architect to lead enterprise data warehousing, reporting, and analytics modernization across on-premises and cloud platforms. You will translate requirements into scalable designs and guide cross-functional teams through design, development, testing, and deployment.

Remote work is available from anywhere in the U.S.; in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, office presence four days a week is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of information technology experience with enterprise architecture
• Experience building enterprise data warehouses, reporting, and analytics solutions
• Hands-on Python and advanced SQL, including automation and data processing

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture for reporting, analytics, data integration, and processing across on-premises and cloud
• Translate requirements into maintainable designs with traceability and security
• Lead modernization of ETL/SQL logic and automate processing using Python
