Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience working with health plan members in a customer service capacity.
• Experience explaining EOBs, benefits, and coverage details.
• Ability to handle high call volumes with professionalism and accuracy.
• Prior experience with commercial insurance and benefits quoting is required.
• Strong internet connection with reliable speeds.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of inbound calls from patients about benefits, coverage, copays, coinsurance, deductibles, and EOBs.
• Provide clear explanations of insurance benefits and benefits quoting.
• Assist with light claims processing tasks.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and members to resolve inquiries.
• Document interactions using specialized software.
