State Collection Service, Inc. is seeking Remote Health Care Customer Service Representatives to join The GREAT STATE TEAM.

You will handle inbound and outbound calls in a high-tech environment, resolving questions about insurance, billing, financial assistance, and payments. The role requires accuracy, the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting, and willingness to work evenings and some Saturdays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in call center or customer service with public contact.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, patient billing, healthcare insurance or healthcare administration preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Make and answer calls in the name of the client to resolve billing and payment issues.
• Respond to information requests from patient/account holders in a professional, thorough, explainable manner.
• Arrange payment or payment plans on behalf of the client as appropriate.
• Follow client-specific protocols and policies when carrying out duties.
• Investigate and respond to client enquiries as needed.
• Enter and monitor payment arrangements.
• Comply with FDCPA, FCRA, HIPAA and other applicable laws.
