Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a Web Developer for a remote contract role focused on migrating the Company Library content site from WordPress to Contentful. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in TypeScript and Node.js, along with experience in data transformation and Contentful's APIs.

This position involves designing new content models, building migration tools, and training in-house authors on Contentful. The role is expected to last approximately 3 to 4 months, with a competitive rate of $70 per hour.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Contentful models for articles and landing pages.
• Build migration toolchains from WordPress to Contentful.
• Maintain runtime modules for SEO and structured data.
• Plan a phased cutover with authoring freeze.
• Train in-house authors on the new Contentful editing experience.
• Decommission the WordPress instance post-migration.
