Job summary

eNGINE is seeking a Web Developer with 4+ years of Contentful experience to lead a WordPress-to-Contentful migration on Microsoft Azure. The role focuses on backend content model design, reusable components, and automation, while preserving current site appearance and functionality.

You'll collaborate with Marketing and internal developers, establish publishing workflows, and ensure a scalable, reliable CMS migration.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on Contentful experience.
• 5+ years professional web development experience preferred.
• Experience migrating websites or CMSs into Contentful.
• Strong understanding of headless CMS architecture and content modeling.
• Experience working with APIs and backend integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead backend migration of WordPress websites into Contentful.
• Design and implement Contentful content models, types and reusable components.
• Work within Microsoft Azure environment for new CMS architecture.
• Preserve website content, structure and functionality during migration.
• Develop automation and reusable publishing workflows.
• Create standardized templates for recurring content and publish workflows.
• Collaborate with Marketing and frontend teams to ensure smooth transition.
• Establish efficient migration/publishing maintenance processes.
• Test migrated content and ensure successful transition.
