Job summary

Pomelo Care is building a premier provider network for women and children, leading end-to-end lifecycle from recruitment to engagement. This Head of Provider Network Strategy role drives strategy, operations, and technology to scale clinician supply while preserving quality and a patient-first experience.

You will design compensation models, partner with Recruiting, and own the journey from offer to first patient.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of operational leadership in marketplace, provider network, or digital health operations.
• Proven track record scaling 1099 clinician networks with regulatory and compliance considerations.
• Ability to translate ambiguity into clear strategy, operating model, and scalable systems.

Responsibilities

• Define vision, strategy, metrics, and cadence for full provider lifecycle across acquisition to retention.
• Design clinician compensation models and incentive structures balancing growth with margins.
• Partner with Recruiting to attract and convert clinicians; own funnel performance from sourcing to offers.
• Lead onboarding to first patient; reduce time-to-first-patient by removing friction in contracting and onboarding.
• Unify onboarding across specialties using tech, automation, and purposeful human touchpoints.
• Forecast provider capacity by specialty/geography and manage standards for quality and patient experience.
• Establish scalable guidelines for regulation, credentialing, and worker-classification compliance.
• Hire and lead a high-performing provider operations team with accountability and urgency.
