Job summary

LifeStance Health Inc. seeks a highly experienced psychiatrist to lead specialty therapeutic programs, including TMS and psychedelic-assisted therapies, with a focus on evidence-based practice and regulatory compliance.

You will oversee protocol development, training, and governance across markets, collaborating with Medical Leadership, Clinical Operations, Quality, Research and Finance to ensure safe, scalable programs that align with enterprise priorities.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification in Psychiatry.
• Active, unrestricted medical license and ability to maintain licensure requirements.
• 10+ years of psychiatric clinical experience, including specialty/interventional treatments.
• Experience developing clinical protocols, care pathways, safety standards, or program governance structures.
• Strong understanding of clinical evidence review, patient safety, risk management, regulatory considerations, and standards of care for specialty therapeutics.
• Ability to influence clinical and operational leaders across a complex organization.
• Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, and executive communication skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement an enterprise interventional psychiatry strategy including TMS, pharmacotherapies, and neuromodulation.
• Lead clinical program development for psychedelic-assisted therapies in line with FDA guidance and DEA requirements.
• Evaluate emerging specialty treatments for feasibility, safety, and patient need.
• Monitor literature to inform strategy and positioning.
• Develop clinical protocols, care pathways, and safety monitoring for specialty programs.
• Oversee training, credentialing standards, and provider education for interventional therapies.
