Job summary

LifeStance Health in the United States seeks a physician leader to advance interventional psychiatry, including TMS and novel pharmacotherapies. You will design programs, set safety standards, and guide outcomes measurement across markets, partnering with executive and clinical teams.

The role requires MD/DO with board certification, 10+ years in psychiatry, and a proven ability to translate evidence into scalable care.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with board certification in Psychiatry.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in the United States.
• 10+ years of psychiatric clinical experience, including specialty/interventional modalities.
• Ability to develop clinical protocols, care pathways, safety standards, and governance structures.
• Strong written, verbal, and executive communication skills.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise interventional psychiatry strategy (TMS, pharmacotherapies).
• Lead clinical program development for psychedelic therapies in line with FDA guidance.
• Evaluate emerging treatments for safety, feasibility, and patient need.
• Monitor literature to inform strategy and competitive positioning.
• Develop clinical protocols, eligibility criteria, and safety monitoring expectations.
• Oversee implementation, outcomes measurement, and continuous improvement across markets.
• Oversee training and credentialing Standards for clinicians delivering interventional therapies.
• Collaborate with Medical Leadership and Operations to ensure sound governance.
• Navigate DEA licensing, REMS, and state regulatory variation.
• Collaborate on data collection and outcomes frameworks for interventional programs.
• Monitor outcomes, adverse events, and program scale decisions.
• Build relationships with academic and research partners.
