Job summary

Happy Money is seeking a Head of Credit & Fraud to own credit and fraud risk strategy for its lending business. You will set policy, lead the team, and be the senior credit voice with executives and capital partners.

You will balance growth and losses to maximize risk-adjusted returns and communicate clearly with leaders and investors. You bring data-driven mindset and the ability to dig into analyses, build business cases, and guide policy in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years in financial services.
• 8+ years of credit risk experience with strategy/policy ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own credit and fraud strategy and policy across the customer lifecycle.
• Set risk appetite and translate into clear policy, criteria and targets.
• Balance loss and approval rates to grow profitable volume.
• Lead test-and-learn agenda with measurable outcomes.
• Monitor performance, analytics and governance with partner teams.
• Identify early risks and adjust policies promptly.
• Ensure policies meet regulatory and partner requirements.
