Job summary

7Seventy seeks a Head of Credit to own end-to-end credit strategy, underwriting framework, risk models, and portfolio management for consumer credit products. Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in consumer credit, underwriting, or credit risk leadership.
• Experience building or scaling credit programs within a fintech, card issuer, or modern bank.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall credit strategy and underwriting framework across consumer credit products.
• Design and scale credit decisioning infrastructure and credit risk models.
• Monitor and optimize portfolio performance across approval rates, delinquencies, and losses.
• Partner with product and data teams to develop automated underwriting and risk systems.
• Launch and manage new credit products within the broader financial product ecosystem.
• Work closely with sponsor banks and compliance partners to maintain regulatory alignment.
• Build and lead the credit risk and underwriting organization.
