Job summary

Change.org is seeking a Director of Operations, Deliberations to lead and scale the operations engine behind our local civic dialogues. You will report to our GM of Civic Dialogues, owning the delivery across cities, building the team that runs them, and continuously improving how the program operates to reach more cities, faster.

The role demands strong leadership, strategic design, and experience with cross-partisan dialogues, with a focus on non-partisan credibility and effective city

Qualifications

• 8+ years in operations or program leadership.
• Direct experience in or with city governments.
• Track record of building from scratch and scaling a program.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of civic dialogues across cities, from recruitment to reporting.
• Lead and grow the program manager team, onboarding PMs as the program scales.
• Redesign the 12-week dialogue playbook into a repeatable system with AI-powered workflows.
• Build trusted relationships with city offices and non-partisan partners.
• Act as a strategic partner to the GM and policy directors on growth and direction of the Deliberations program.
