Job summary

PARA Consulting is seeking a Mid-Level Functional Consultant – HCM to join our remote HCM implementation team. You will translate HR needs into functional configurations, document processes, and support go-live readiness.

You’ll collaborate with senior consultants and clients, create UAT scripts, test scenarios, and ensure alignment with business requirements throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT, or business admin required.
• 2–5 years in Functional Consultant/Business Analyst roles.
• Experience with HCM platforms (Rippling, Workday, UKG, ADP).
• Proven ability to document processes and UAT scripts.
• Strong written and verbal communication; remote work capable.
• Translate requirements into HR system configurations.
• Comfortable in a remote, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
• Develop clear process documentation, workflows, and UAT scripts.
• Execute UAT, validate results, ensure traceability to requirements.
• Participate in client meetings, discovery sessions, demos, go-live support.
• Translate needs into HCM configurations and workflows.
• Collaborate with technical and project teams for timely delivery.
• Contribute to best practices, templates, and knowledge docs.
• Support issue tracking, feedback, and post-implementation follow-ups.
