Job summary

Datavant is seeking a dedicated HCC coder to review patient records, identify diagnoses, and code them using ICD-10 CM. You will ensure accuracy, comply with DRGs policies, and contribute to risk adjustment processes.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in HCC coding, strong ICD-10 knowledge, and the ability to work remotely for 40 hours weekly in a fast-paced environment. Certification credentials (AHIMA/AAPC) are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years HCC coding experience.
• Strong ICD-10 knowledge and medical terminology.
• Able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• AHIMA or AAPC credentials required (CRC preferred).

Responsibilities

• Review medical records to identify and code diagnoses using ICD-10 CM per guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines, DRGs, and reimbursement policies.
• Maintain a 95% coding accuracy rate.
• Perform other tasks as requested by management.
