Job summary

Datavant is seeking an HCC Auditor to review medical records coded in ICD-10, ensuring accurate representation for risk adjustment and reimbursement. You will assess charts, respond to rebuttals, and participate in project reviews in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Applicants should have 2 years of HCC coding and auditing experience, strong medical terminology knowledge, and AHIMA or AAPC credentials. High school diploma required.

Qualifications

• 2 years' HCC Coding experience.
• 2 years' HCC Auditing experience.
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• AHIMA or AAPC credentials (RHIA/RHIT/CCS or CPC/CPC-H/COC/CIC/CRC).
• Strong medical terminology knowledge.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Audit coded charts per client guidelines.
• Move between client guidelines with ease.
• Maintain 95% quality at diagnosis level.
• Address rebuttals from coders/auditors.
• Attend weekly coding project review meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
