Job summary

Datavant, a data collaboration platform for healthcare, is seeking an HCC Auditor to review coded medical records and ensure accurate risk adjustment coding. You will translate clinical documentation into precise ICD-10 codes reflecting patient health status while meeting client guidelines and quality standards.

The role requires 2 years of HCC coding and auditing experience, AHIMA or AAPC credentials, and strong medical terminology knowledge.

Qualifications

• 2 years' HCC Coding experience
• 2 years' HCC Auditing experience
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10
• High school diploma or GED
• AHIMA credentials (RHIA, RHIT, CCS) or AAPC credentials (CPC, CPC-H, COC, CIC or CRC)
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology

Responsibilities

• Audit coded charts per client guidelines
• Move between different client guidelines with ease
• Maintain 95% quality at diagnosis level
• Respond to rebuttals by coders/auditors
• Attend weekly coding project review meetings
• Perform tasks as assigned by quality supervisor
