Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Hardware Systems Engineer to join the Hardware Development & Engineering team. You will validate new server designs, build robust testing frameworks, and ensure reliability, security and performance across our hardware ecosystem.

You will work with platform architects, perform power/thermal tests, and contribute to automation while collaborating with software teams on BIOS/kernel/firmware configurations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in server hardware development, testing, or validation.
• Hands-on experience with hardware validation methodologies, benchmarking tools, and test automation.
• Proficiency in Linux server environments and scripting languages (Python, Bash).
• Understanding of PCIe, NVMe, and DDR standards.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience using AI to enhance workflows and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Execute validation tests for server platforms, storage media, and PCIe Gen6.
• Support validation plans for new server designs with power/thermal testing.
• Contribute to automation frameworks for hardware testing and firmware validation.
• Coordinate with ODM/OEM partners on server integration.
• Document test results and technical findings for new platforms.
• Maintain and operate hardware testing infrastructure.
• Collaborate with software teams on BIOS/kernel/firmware tuning.
