Job summary

CrowdStrike, Inc. is seeking a Hardware Systems Engineer to join the Hardware Development & Engineering team in a full-time capacity. You will validate server designs, build robust testing frameworks, and ensure reliability, security, and performance across our hardware ecosystem.

Responsibilities include executing validation tests, supporting designs, automating testing, and coordinating with ODM/OEM partners, while documenting results and maintaining testing infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of server hardware development, testing, or validation.
• Hands-on hardware validation methodologies, benchmarking tools, and test automation.
• Proficiency in Linux environments and scripting (Python, Bash).
• Strong knowledge of modern server architectures and components (CPU, memory, storage, networking).
• Familiarity with server BMC interfaces (Redfish, IPMI).
• Experience applying AI technologies to optimize workflows and drive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Execute validation tests for server platforms, storage media, and emerging technologies.
• Support validation plans for new server designs, power/thermal testing and benchmarking.
• Contribute to automation frameworks for hardware testing, firmware validation, and component qualification.
• Assist in coordination with ODM/OEM partners on server integration projects.
• Document test results, procedures, and technical findings for new platforms.
• Maintain and operate hardware testing infrastructure.
• Collaborate with software teams on platform configuration optimization (BIOS, kernel, firmware).
