Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Hardware Systems Engineer to join the Hardware Development & Engineering team. You will validate new server designs, build testing frameworks, and ensure reliability, security and performance across our hardware ecosystem.

You will collaborate with platform architects and hardware engineers, contribute to automation, and support OEM/ODM partners on server integration while documenting results and maintaining testing infrastructure.

Qualifications

5+ years of server hardware development, testing, or validation.
Hands-on hardware validation methodologies and benchmarking tools.
Proficiency in Linux server environments and scripting (Python, Bash).
Familiarity with Redfish and IPMI interfaces on servers.
Ability to document results and collaborate with software teams.
Experience with AI-enabled workflows to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

Execute validation tests for server platforms, storage media, and emerging tech.
Support validation plans, including power/thermal and performance benchmarking.
Contribute to automation frameworks for hardware testing and firmware validation.
Coordinate with ODM/OEM partners on server integration projects.
Document test results, procedures, and technical findings.
Maintain and operate hardware testing infrastructure.
Collaborate with software teams on platform configuration (BIOS, kernel, firmware).
