Job summary

DataAnnotation is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to evaluate how frontier AI models handle real electrical and electronics engineering work. You will apply judgment from years designing, debugging, and shipping hardware to guide AI tooling.

You’ll design problems, run them through AI models, and critique outputs with rigorous written rationale. This role focuses on analog, RF, mixed-signal circuits, and control systems, with remote-friendly arrangements.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English (native or bilingual level).
• 2+ years of industry experience in circuit or electronics engineering.
• Background in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Strong ability to defend component- and system-level decisions.
• Familiarity with AI tools or quick to learn.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging, realistic engineering problems for models.
• Run problems through frontier AI models and judge outputs.
• Compare model versions on prompts and assess performance.
• Critique model derivations, schematics, component selections, and calculations, with reasoning.
