Job summary

DataAnnotation seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to evaluate how frontier AI models handle real electrical and electronics engineering work. You will design challenging problems from your practice and judge AI outputs against your professional standard, critiquing derivations and calculations with written reasoning.

Role focuses on analog, RF, and mixed-signal circuits, electromagnetics, control systems, devices, materials, signal processing, and power.

Qualifications

Fluency in English (native or bilingual).
2+ years of industry experience in circuit or electronics engineering.
Background in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or a closely related discipline.
Strong ability to defend component-level and system-level decisions.
Comfort with AI tools or the ability to pick them up quickly.
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Design challenging, realistic engineering problems for frontier AI models.
Run problems through frontier AI models and judge outputs to professional standards.
Compare two model versions on identical prompts and assess performance.
Critique model-generated derivations, schematics, selections, and calculations, with rationale.
Flag concrete failures with evidence such as wrong assumptions or unphysical results.
