Job summary

RAD is seeking a remote Deployment Project Engineer to lead hardware installations and handoffs. You will verify placement, connectivity, and labeling, and ensure thorough handoff docs to software teams.

You will manage a network of technicians, coordinate across regions, track deployments, communicate with clients, and handle issues quickly while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on hardware deployment.
• Experience coordinating field technicians or vendors across regions.
• Ability to manage multiple overlapping deployments.
• Proactive communicator who keeps clients informed.
• Strong organizational skills to stay on top of details under load.
• Electrical engineering knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install hardware according to RAD standards and verify placement, coverage, orientation, safety, power, cabling and network connectivity.
• Provide final validation, device labeling, IDs, and configuration details; ensure complete handoff to software team.
• Create and track support tickets, coordinate with technicians, vendors and internal teams to resolve issues and verify performance.
• Track deployments and define scope, timelines and owners for each project in a centralized system.
• Set clear client expectations and communicate delays, changes or issues with next steps and resolutions.
