Nelnet’s NextGen portfolio is seeking a Group Product Manager to lead a small team of Product Managers and own one or more NextGen solutions end to end—from discovery through shipping. You will shape a cohesive strategy across NextGen’s solutions and align across engineering, design, sales, implementation, and client support to deliver tangible campus outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
• Advanced degree with emphasis on strategy, technology, or leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap across the NextGen portfolio.
• Identify opportunities to connect portfolios—shared workflows, integrations, and data.
• Build practical AI applications to reduce manual work for campus staff and students.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a small team of Product Managers.
• Balance hands-on coaching with autonomy and accountability.
