Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrology, Environmental Science, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 3 years of experience with a Master’s degree or 6 years with a Bachelor’s degree in groundwater modeling, hydrogeology, water resources, or environmental consulting.
• Hands-on proficiency with numerical groundwater flow and transport modeling software including MODFLOW, MODPATH, MT3D; familiarity with Groundwater Vistas.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills for reports and deliverables.
• Experience with ArcGIS Pro and post-processing tools; programming in Fortran, Python, Grapher, Surfer.

Aufgaben

• Build, calibrate, and apply groundwater flow and solute transport models under senior staff.
• Perform sensitivity, uncertainty, and predictive analyses for water resources projects.
• Compile and manage spatial/subsurface datasets to support Conceptual Site Models (CSM).
• Assist with ADEQ permitting programs (APP, AZPDES) and ADWR AWS analyses.
• Assist with aquifer impact analysis and MAR/ASR sites development.
• Draft technical reports, memos, figures, and appendices for deliverables.
• Support Project Managers with cost estimation, proposals, and task management.
