Job summary

LineVision is seeking a VP of Engineering to own and accelerate delivery across software and hardware, including Nexus Core, our multi-tenant SaaS platform for dynamic line rating, and the field-deployed sensor family. You will build and run a development organization at pace, with accountability for commitments regulated utilities depend on.

Reporting to the CTO, you will lead a 35+ strong team spanning Platform, Applications, Embedded Software, Data Science, and Hardware Engineering, driving

Qualifications

• 12+ years in engineering with several years leading organizations that shipped production software to external customers.
• Experience delivering a multi-tenant SaaS platform from architecture through GA and ongoing release cadence.
• Experience running on-premise software for enterprise customers with security/compliance requirements.
• Hands-on hardware design experience for industrial or field-deployed products with environmental certifications (UL, CE, FCC, IP-rated enclosures).

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering delivery across Platform, Applications, Embedded Software, Data Science, and Hardware Engineering with direct reporting lines.
• Drive Nexus Core's release cadence for multi-tenant SaaS and on-prem deployments.
• Guide the field-deployed sensor fleet including health monitoring and lifecycle management.
• Establish delivery standards and a clear cadence with named owners for every commitment.
• Collaborate with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Finance on delivery commitments and forecasts.
