Job summary

Planned Parenthood California Central Coast is seeking a dynamic community advocate to support outreach, legislative and grassroots organizing goals across the PPCCC region. You will work with the community engagement team and the statewide office to implement localized advocacy field plans, recruit volunteers, and coordinate events and mobilization efforts.

Qualifications

• Ability to supervise program participants and work with diverse groups.
• Excellent communication skills, including writing and public speaking.
• Strong commitment to reproductive, social, and racial justice.
• Previous experience in outreach, advocacy, and grassroots community organizing.
• Ability to manage time independently and complete multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Fluent verbal and written Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Support Planned Parenthood California Central Coast community outreach efforts and grassroots campaigns.
• Facilitate lobby days and days of action.
• Coordinate regional phone banks and door‑to‑door canvassing efforts.
• Recruit, train, and mobilize volunteers and legislative supporters.
• Table and represent PPCCC at local health fairs and community events.
• Build relationships with community members, partner organizations, and community leaders.
• Collect data and report on constituents and program outcomes using affiliate data-tracking tools
