Job summary

Planned Parenthood California Central Coast (PPCCC) is seeking a Community Organizer to support outreach, advocacy, and grassroots organizing across Santa Maria and the Central Coast. You will work with the community engagement team and partner organizations to implement local and statewide plans, tabling at health fairs, and recruiting volunteers.

This part-time role requires Spanish language skills, strong communication, and the ability to travel within the region; starting pay is $32.50 per

Qualifications

• Ability to build relationships with diverse communities and partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in outreach, advocacy, and grassroots organizing.
• Must be able to work remotely at times and evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Implement field organizing programs and coordinate grassroots campaigns.
• Recruit, train, and mobilize volunteers and supporters.
• Manage grant-funded programs and reporting requirements.
• Support patient advocacy programs and campus outreach.
• Coordinate with local colleges and universities.
