Job summary

Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest seeks a Community Outreach & Education Coordinator to expand its presence across our three-county region. You will coordinate outreach activities, deliver educational presentations, and serve as a liaison between health centers and the community.

The ideal candidate is organized, relationship-focused, and passionate about health equity, with experience in outreach, education, and social media content across diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in community outreach, public relations, marketing, civic engagement, or related fields.
• Experience facilitating virtual reproductive and sexual health education.
• Experience developing and managing content across multiple social media platforms.
• Comfort discussing sensitive topics including sexuality education and STIs.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of community needs and provide feedback to improve services.
• Coordinate, schedule and deliver educational presentations to schools, organizations and community groups.
• Provide in-person and virtual educational presentations.
• Use online resources to engage participants on virtual platforms.
• Collaborate on social media content with region leads.
• Act as liaison between External Affairs, health centers and the community.
• Develop and update educational and promotional materials.
