Job summary

Planned Parenthood Pasadena & San Gabriel Valley is seeking a Temporary Community Organizer to support our Public Affairs programs from Sept 2026 through June 2027 in the Pasadena area.

You will help build a progressive activist base, recruit and mobilize communities, and develop multilingual, culturally responsive outreach across San Gabriel Valley and Northeast Los Angeles. Prior organizing or advocacy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 2–3 years in public affairs, organizing, or community outreach.
• Bi/multi-lingual in Vietnamese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Tagalog, Korean, or Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bridge relationship gaps with communities in the San Gabriel Valley and Northeast LA, with multilingual messaging.
• Develop culturally responsive, multilingual political education and advocacy campaigns.
• Plan and coordinate grassroots activities for advocacy and electoral work.
• Coordinate logistics for Capitol Day and engage volunteers and partners.
