Jefferson County is seeking a Grants & Procurement Director to provide strategic leadership and countywide oversight of grants and procurement. The role directs grant administration, procurement systems, compliance, and governance while aligning with fiscal requirements and county priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, accounting, finance or related field.
• Three years of supervisory experience and five years of work-related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of countywide grants management and procurement programs.
• Advise executive leadership on contracting, compliance, fiscal stewardship, and related policy matters.
• Develop reports and briefings to support decision-making.
• Oversee grant programs and procurement activities to align with priorities and budgets.
• Promote coordination across county departments and external partners.
