Job summary

Jefferson County seeks a Grants & Procurement Director to lead countywide grants and procurement programs. You will oversee policy, governance, and training while advising executive leadership and the Board on contracting and compliance. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public administration, accounting, finance or related field is required.
• Minimum five years of work experience with at least three years in supervisory roles.
• Equivalent education and experience accepted per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and countywide oversight of grants management and procurement programs.
• Advise executive leadership and the Board on contracting, compliance, and fiscal matters.
• Direct grant activities including funding, administration, financial management, and audits.
• Oversee procurement activities, standards, transparency, and compliance.
• Promote cross-department collaboration and manage performance measures and training.
