Job summary

Marshall University seeks an Operations Admin and Funding Navigator to support the West Virginia Grant Resource Centers. This full-time remote role helps communities, not-for-profit organizations, and eligible applicants identify funding opportunities, prepare competitive proposals, and submit complete packages.

Strong written and oral communication and research skills are essential; some travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Grant writing experience preferred.
• Experience with budgeting and financial record keeping is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify funding opportunities for client projects.
• Draft outlines and checklists for opportunities.
• Compile research to support grant proposals.
• Design surveys for proposal-development capacity.
• Create materials for an online resource lab.
• Maintain records and project files for management.
• Assist with travel logistics and settlements.
• Track expenses and draft progress reports.
• Assist with proposal development and letters of support.
• Other duties as assigned by Director or PI.
