Job summary

ACCEL Schools LLC seeks a hands-on Grant Manager to own the full lifecycle of federal, state, and local grants for four West Virginia schools. This role combines management with detailed grant and financial activities, including budgeting, reporting, and closeout, while aligning grant activity with the general ledger and school operations.

As a working-manager, you will expand the WV portfolio and help implement scalable processes for future expansion to additional states, maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of grant management or grant accounting experience.
• Experience with federal/state grants and compliance in education or nonprofit.
• Strong Excel skills with PivotTables and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own the full grant lifecycle for federal, state, and local grants, including identification, pre-award support, and award closeout.
• Manage grant portfolio for four WV schools, with expansion to more sites as ACCEL grows.
• Review grant documents and translate requirements into practical accounting and operational processes.
• Maintain grant ledgers, record expenses/revenue, forecast, and monitor budgets against awards.
