Job summary

Youth RISE Foundation is seeking a detail-oriented Grants Officer to identify funding opportunities, develop competitive grant proposals, and support the Foundation's fundraising strategy.

Working closely with executive leadership and program teams, the Grants Officer will help secure funding that expands programs, strengthens organizational sustainability, and advances our mission of empowering youth and young adults.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, communications, public administration, business, or related field.
• Experience in grant writing, fundraising, nonprofit development, or proposal management.
• Strong research, writing, editing, and project management skills.
• Experience preparing successful grant applications preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Research grant opportunities at local, state, federal, corporate, and private foundations.
• Write, edit, and submit high-quality grant proposals and letters of inquiry.
• Develop grant budgets with leadership.
• Maintain a grants calendar and track deadlines.
• Coordinate supporting documents for submissions.
• Prepare grant reports and monitor reporting requirements.
• Build relationships with grantmakers and funding partners.
• Collaborate with program leadership to align funding strategies.
• Maintain accurate grant records and documentation.
