Job summary

Youth Engagement Fund is seeking a Senior Program Officer to support growth and impact of grantees and the youth civic engagement sector. This role focuses on relationship-building, grantmaking, and programming that strengthens movement partnerships.

The Senior Program Officer will work with the Executive Director to advance YEF’s philanthropic leadership, research initiatives, and capacity-building efforts, ensuring alignment with our mission to empower youth of color and marginalized

Qualifications

• Commitment to the Youth Engagement Fund’s vision and social justice focus.
• Experience in social justice movements, especially youth and civic engagement.
• Ability to design and manage capacity-building programs and engage multiple affiliates.

Responsibilities

• Manage grantee relationships and grantmaking, including program evaluation and communications.
• Lead grantmaking processes and support development of giving strategy.
• Build partnerships with movement, training, and research partners and advance programming for grantees.
• Represent YEF at key meetings and contribute to media messaging and reports.
• Oversee donor collaborative activities and coordinate with the Executive Director.
