Job summary

Global Refuge, a nonprofit serving newcomers, seeks a Senior Program Officer for Grants Management to oversee grants administration for the RIS division. You will collaborate across Programs, Development, Finance, and Administration to develop proposals, MOUs, and grant reporting while supervising RIS staff.

Qualifications include an undergraduate degree in a related field with 3–5 years of supervisory experience, plus expertise in government grants, NOFOs, and reporting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience administering government grants and ensuring contract compliance.
• Familiarity with funding research tools.
• Experience in a resettlement office or national resettlement office preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee successful management of Global Refuge resettlement program grants.
• Supervise direct reports and provide programmatic guidance.
• Collaborate with Programs, Development, Finance, and Administration on proposals, MOUs, and reporting.
• Research funding opportunities from federal agencies and other funders.
• Review NOFOs and pursue aligned funding opportunities proactively.
• Lead proposal preparation and submission for RIS division.
• Monitor grant awards and communicate changes to required units.
• Coordinate MOUs with Administration for partners throughout the year.
• Ensure timely, accurate grant reporting in portals (Grant Solutions, etc.).
• Maintain grant-related records in Salesforce and up-to-date affiliate contacts.
• Represent Global Refuge in meetings and with external stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
