Inside Philanthropy is seeking a Grants Manager to lead our grant writing, reporting, and research for private foundations as well as state and federal grants. You will partner with the Development Director and Program Director to align funding opportunities with program growth.

This full-time, exempt role is remote, based in the United States, with a current grant portfolio of $500,000 and room to grow across a five-county area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in nonprofit grant writing.
• 3 years’ experience with federal grants and reporting.
• Understanding of fundraising systems and processes.
• Experience in a small nonprofit with cross-collaboration on fundraising.

Responsabilités

• Oversee all grant activities including proposal development, grant writing, submission, reporting, and prospecting.
• Collaborate with Development Director and Program Director to create a multi-year grant strategy that meets funding needs of programs and general operations.
• Establish and maintain relationships with funders through regular contact, networking, and engagement.
• Identify funding opportunities that match the mission of BBBS programs. Identify new program areas to match funder priorities.
• Manage the grants calendar and reporting schedule.
• Write and submit private, family, government, and corporate foundation grants and reports.
• Prepare corporate proposals, as needed, to support partner work, events, and program implementation.
